Be Seen by Your Clients
Google AdWords is an advertising program that lets you place your ads on Google’s search results. When Google returns search results for a user query it is actually returning two sets of results; organic results and paid results (ads).
Adwords ads are Pay Per Click which means that, even if your ad appears, unless the user clicks on it, you don’t pay a cent. For this reason, AdWords is a great advertising platform, particularly if you have a limited budget.
Search Engine Advertising has seen a significant increase in popularity for a number of reasons, perhaps principally because it is measurable. TV, Radio and Print ads are traditionally expensive and it is difficult to accurately measure ROI. Digital advertising is different.
Google is the worlds most popular search engine. Close to 90% of all searches are run through Google in Ireland.
AdWords allow for specific targeting; by Location, Time, Interests and many others. Your ads will reach the right people with Google Ads.
You control how much you spend, when it is spent and there is no minimum spend.
Google AdWords are highly measurable, ROI is easily calculated.

Targeted Display Advertising
Facebook lead the display advertising space with a 20% market share (compare this to Googles 9% share).
Display advertising works best for brand awareness. Because Facebook stores all our information and knows all about us Facebook is a great platform to launch a brand awareness campaign.
The main difference between search and display advertising is that when people search they are looking for something in particular which means that if your ad fits what the user is looking for you it is more likely to be clicked on. With display ads the user is not expressly looking for anything when these ads appear. Display ensures your ads only appear when they are contextually relevant but the click through rate is lower. Its not a choice of one or the other, search and display compliment each other so a blended approach usually works best.
